KB9MFD – That’s a strange name for a site; for those in the know, you would recognize it, but for others, it’s an amateur radio callsign. Why use it? Because it is unique and I am the only one in the world with that calling, it makes a rather easy way to name something, knowing it will not be a duplicate.
